The mild and sunny year-round climate and the various facilities mean that a holiday at this Provencal villa is never without an activity. Every taste is catered for, with an infinity-edge heated pool, a range of indoor and outdoor games and sporting equipment, plentiful wine, and numerous quiet areas to set the mood for simply relaxing and enjoying the environment.
The Pools
The heated, 15m x 6m pool has an infinity edge, and there is a second ‘baby’ pool below for younger kids to splash around. Pool toys are available for your use, and the baby pool depth can be adjusted. There is an underwater ledge that runs along the length of the large pool, ideal for sitting and chatting with a cool drink in your hand.
Important:We have certainly kept safety in mind when designing your accommodation: both pools have infra-red alarms and the large pool has an electric pool cover. However, we would draw your attention to the inherent danger of swimming pools and urge you to exercise the utmost caution at all times.
Games room, Boules area and other amenities
Underneath the pool terrace you'll find a separate 80 sq. m. games room with a snooker table, darts board, table tennis table drinks bar and additional bathroom/shower. In front of Pigeonnier tower, overlooking the valley, a floodlit boules area(and spectator seating) awaits those who can’t sit still.
Two mountain bikes and two hybrid bikes(and protective helmets) are also available for the more adventurous to explore the surrounding countryside. If the entire house wants to get on a bike and ride, local bicycle rental can be found in the bicycle shop on the plain.
2 sets of mens’ and womens’ golf clubs are available for use, and arrangements are also in place for the use of a local private gym.
Parking is available for up to 10 cars.
The Wine Cellar
No villa rental in France would be complete without its own wine cellar – La Bastide boasts a carefully selected range of quality wines, including Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and selected local and Provençal wines. These are all available to guests at very reasonable prices.
